- It's mostly just more sperging, making terrible use of images and font sizes to blow it up to 48 pages
- Of course he claims the orc caricatures of white cultures in the book don't count
- It has an "About Me" section where a very pedo-looking Cornstarch Crusader brags about how much he has studied and supported Native Americans.
- I give him that, though: He doesn't claim that he's 1/9999 Comanche or something
- For someone so proud of his scholarly background, this little PDF comes across as pretty amateurish, even has constant repetitions as if his accusations of wrongthink are a religious mantra
- The PDF has a link to an illegal copy of the gazetteer from archive.org

Kyle "I hate white people like myself" Brink declared a klessik D&D setting haram for being too "problematic".
A post-apocalyptic desert world that has essentially regressed back into the Bronze Age because iron has become rare as shit? Ruled by evil asshole wizards who have mutated into psychic dragons? With lots of grim darkness and slavery? And halfling cannibals? I can see how this doesn't line up with SJW tastes
Well, at least they can't ruin settings they refuse to touch

That sounds too interesting and fun. Better ban it so the bigots can't have fun. The lefty loonies were never going to play that setting anyway.

Mind you, the setting had some issues. The metaplot took a turn for the boring when they killed off the main villain too quickly.
It also made heavy use of psionics, which in AD&D days always been a convoluted mess that has you jump through all sorts of shit to at best barely pull off what a lower-level spellcaster can just do with the flick of a wrist.

Sly 3 Uncharted 2 Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Corporate drones writing for the movie disclose they are intentionally belittling the male characters
And terrible mages in a D&D movies? Why does this keep happening? I swear every single one of these shit shows has some spellcaster in the party who sucks at everything (including the one thing they're supposed to be good at).
Sorcerers weren't even a thing before 3.0, you fake.

Sure"That was not an attempt at wokeness on our part"
I don't think you're supposed to actually admit that..."We also love emasculating leading men"
Funny? Maybe to you. Fresh? Have you seen any movie that came out in the last couple years? The pair explained that they wrote the men that way because they find it "funny and fresh"
I wonder why...While they did not name names, they noted that they'd had experiences with a couple of male actors in the past who refused to look weak or vulnerable in a film.
Great, a movie where everyone sucks."I think maybe what I responded to most in their script was that it's about losers. This little band of comrades, they're all a bit crap. You are not great at being a bard," Grant said. "And the magician, played by Justice [Smith], is really bad.

Is D&D aware of the difference between a wizard and a sorcerer in alchemy or is it just your typical fantasy thing where the writers use those terms interchangeably?

Re: Basements & Beards- Analogue Gaming Thread
We're talking about a RPG franchise were "Gorgon" and "Medusa" are two completely different monsters. They just went with whatever name they thought sounded best.
General medieval research has also always left a bit to be desired. Earlier editions infamously featured every permutation of polearm you can think of, but they also came up with "studded leather armor" (probably a misinterpretation of the brigandine). And they never got bucklers right, either.
A "Wizard" is your OG D&D arcane spellcaster, except they were called "Magic User" in older editions.
Or "Mage" if they weren't a specialist wizard (Conjurer, Diviner, Illusionist...). It's a bit autistic tbh.
A "Sorcerer" on the other hand is either some variant Wizard or a completely different class of arcane spellcaster, depending on if we're talking about AD&D 2e or 3.x+

I already suspected as much. Please tell me that medusae in D&D are jellyfish.

Re: Basements & Beards- Analogue Gaming Thread
Nah, they just look like your typical Medusa from various adaptations. Some editions do remember she's supposed to be hideous-looking (in which case her entire body is covered ins cales), and all forget that the gorgon sisters are supposed to have wings and claws (as to all adaptations, tbf).
There are also male medusae, who are never shown to have snake hair, or any hair for that matter.
The most prominent D&D jellyfish is the Fluumph, made infamous for its goofy looks and being the first ever Lawful Good monster.
(Btw D&D gorgons btw. are really just the catoblepas, which gets extra confusing cause D&D already has a catoblepas, which at least looks like the real deal while the gorgons are like metal bulls.)
