Exactly, however, even the sites that praise it admit that a lot of it is boring as fuck, though. Delivering packages sounds terribly boring. I'm sure the DEEP PLOTZ is okay or whatever but Kojima can't into games anymore.

I agree and I kinda don't. I think the worst that Kojima got with that shit was MGS2. MGS3 was great. No deep plots really. MGS4 was a step down because it was supposed to be the last one and had to tie up all the loose ends of the series. So it had a lot of exposition. Peace Walker was an acceptable balance of story and gameplay. MGS5 was similar in that regard despite being an incomplete game.
