That reminds me to ask, what do you guys think about charge characters? I've heard many claim that charge characters are easy and many recommend them for beginners. I never found it to be that way.
I also wouldn't say they're good for beginners. Keeping the charge is just another thing you need to keep track of, and is another step in the way to perform special moves.
I'd say they're more easy to use in animu fighters like Arcana Heart where you can just charge during one of those long basic combos, but I'd still rather pick a "normal" character.

The real shits were Ogre mains.
Coincidentally, just hours ago they dropped the season 2 patch. The short of it: Dragunov nerfed, Ling nerfed, King buffed, Heihachi buffed, Geese kinda nerfed, electrics in general have a bit more homing, all characters changed up a bit.
Lei got added, Anna got added and there's now such a thing as wall bounce.
Every character has one move that causes wall bounce. It's exactly what it sounds like. Hit a cunt that's standing, launch the dude about four back dashes worth away and if they hit a wall they come bouncing back to you airborne. It looks absolutely nuts and I'm excited to see what that does to the game.
Oh, forgot Devil Jin. Can't really say much about him because most changes are to how opponents react to hits and I really don't know enough about him to tell if those changes are buffs or nerfs. I'm guessing mostly the latter. Hellsweep supposedly has a bit less range now but it really doesn't feel like it.
Too long for sure. I have only messed around a bit in practise but he looks to be pretty good/what you'd expect. Season 2 tournaments are going to be hype!
I'm not too sure. King has some AK stuff so it's a bit like the Gigas-Marduk situation. Not as extreme, especially because almost nobody demands Marduk, but still. He's more likely to be in T8 and that won't come soon, I think. With how good T7 currently works and tournament participation still rising I wouldn't expect a T8 before 2020 the absolute earliest.
