It's just comfy entertainment for people who still can enjoy beauty and innocence in it's simplest form, jeez. I prefer to be extremely cynical only when dealing with real life assholes who deserve it; my fictional entertainment, I prefer it idealistic and stress free.
By all means go play Todd Howard's post-apocalyptic nonsense I it makes you feel satisfied and proud of your choice of mature, properly evolved gaming, with all its ugly characters and bleak tunnels and dark brownish graphic's glory. I'll play Atelier Rorona in the meanwhile and try to solve an idyllic town's silly problems with alchemy.
