My brother is playing it (he had quit during Legion and BFA),and according to him, the game is "enjoyable", despite it seemingly being the same old shit, only with its of purple assets and maps. I guess he'll give up after raiding becomes, again, an exercise in futility and patience, since he doesn't seem to be all that excited by it.

There are mods for that. Don't rely on current Blizzard to make a game that runs for shit, not even an upscale.

No there isn't. I fucking looked and there is nothing I could find with a decent resolution mod.

I've watched Aris play it, it's the same game. It's even built on top of the original D2 engine.
