Which has been suspiciously delisted from DrivethruRPG to make room for the 7th edition, the one where the Mask of Nyarlathotep campaign has been adjusted to be less "problematic".

itch.io is doing another virtue-signal bundle.
Last time it was about bailing out "peaceful" BLM protestors, this time it's about Texan transkids.
I expect the usual suspect like Extreme Meatpunks Forever to be in there somewhere, but these stupid bundles always contain hundreds of shovelware items, and the site is still unable to handle so much shit.

At least I've found my newest favorite game :3

Might be less of a case for the exclusive 42% club and more a potential member for the plastic bag hijab society.

I'm sure the Special K is exclusively for therapeutic reasons and not at all recreational.

Dunno if I've mentioned this already, but there's some odd trend in the indie tabletop industry of releasing micro-RPG anthologies whose main selling point is that the writers behind it aren't straight cis het males. Because that's important these days.
Not only couldn't I care less if the author of any book is black, female, or an intelligent shade of blue, but I find it a bit strange that they keep making anthologies for these minorities, as if no one trusts them to stand on their own.

Wizards of the Coast has apparently found out about this trend, and they're releasing an adventure anthology book (available in two amazing covers, one of which being way more tumblr than the other) whose main selling point is "Almost only people of color worked on this!"
  • I am the first-ever PoC Project Lead for a D&D book.
  • This is the first D&D book conceived, created, and written entirely by PoCs: Sixteen writers in total.
  • This is the first D&D book where the cover art and alt-cover art were both created by women of color: Evyn Fong and Sija Hong.
  • The co-Art Director is a woman of color: Emi Tanji.
  • The Marketing Lead is a woman of color: Sara Chan.
  • Two of the rules developers are PoCs: Makenzie De Armas and Taymoor Rehman.
  • One of the editors is a PoC: Jessica Ross.
  • Three cultural consultants are women of color: Nivair H. Gabriel, Jaymee Goh, and Carmen Maria Marin.
  • Almost two-thirds of the artists were PoCs and they created more than two-thirds of the art for the book.
  • One of our narrative design consultants (and also my wife), is a woman of color: Whitney Strix Beltrán. She was with me from the very first day to the very last. I am eternally grateful for all she’s done.
  • Additionally, half of the writers are women and several writers come from the LGBTQIA+ community.
>two of the rules developers
>one of the editors
>three consultants
>almost 2/3 of the artists

One could be nitpicky and ask why they didn't gave a PoC ratio for the rules developers, editors and consultants. I can only assume it is not as high as the art department, which for some reason still required 1/3 cracker art.

But there's more, for the anthologies are sharing the same spanking new setting.
Apparently it's just a ripoff of Sigil from Planescape, except way lamer since it doesn't have conflicting factions, outsiders trying to control the city, or really crime in general.
Dunno if this is because this first ever PoC D&D setting needs to be a glorious Wakanda, or because the writing department is made up of the same weird snowflakes that have infiltrated the hobby who think that their silly tabletop book will birth the next Third Reich and/or Apartheid regime if they even mention "problematic" thinks like slavery. Or city guards doing their job (city guards are cops and therefore evil, okay?). Or bad guys being actually evil and competent.

EDIT: I assume the adventures will be about as thrilling as the ones for Stryxhaven, which had one where you were working as a clerk for Fantasy Starbucks. Because that's quirky.

I downloaded the Pathfinder 2nd Edition books and man, it is terrible. Utter garbage nonsensical rules and terminology. If Owlcat Games releases their next game based on THAT shitshow, I predict it flopping.

They had some weird-ass idea with that edition, the most triggering for me probably being that everything is a Feat.
Plus their core audience likely hates it because it's too different from 3.X, which caused them to abandon D&D 4e in favor of Pathfinder 1e in the first place.

I guess I'll stick to the best version of Pathfinder based on Final Fantasy. Except for a few archetypes which are clearly based on something else. Plus the Summoner class doesn't actually work like a FF Summoner class because it is based on Pathfinder's Summoner class (aka "build your own animal companion and break the game while doing so", the class). Also you can be a Cleric of Kefka because this is still based on D&D so you gotta have Clerics.
The world of Final Fantasy homebrews is fascinating.
