Only after - I remember that when I bought my PS2, my TV was an older model that didn't have whatever automatic conversion they were doing in more recent models, so it wouldn't work with the console. I had to play it in a 14 inches TV until I got enough money to purchase a brand new LED screen TV. Which reminds me, I really need to play FFX again because I only experienced it on that small screen.

Imagine gaming in the PAL region format and believing you have any credibility as a gamer.

Many good/interesting games of the PS2 era came out in PAL and not in NTSC, kigunigger.
Forbidden Siren 2 is one example, and this one came out in Japan and Italy, nowhere else:
