Having a single writer isn't really a death sentence in the world of indie tabletop. Kevin Crawford of Stars Without Number fame for example is one of the finest providers of d20-based content, and he's one of the few in the industry whose Kickstarters aren't bullshit. His books are already finished and just needs a bit of playtesting, and the Kickstarter money is mainly used to get art - which he then offers free of charge when everything's done and ready.
Far to many other tabletop Dickstarters instead just promise you that they'll start writing the book once everything's funded. This is what ultimately doomed Mekton Zero, no matter how many years Mike Pondsmith claimed it's totally almost done. Other popular examples include Far West (which ultimately ended up being nothing but 5+ years of endless excuses), and the more recent and most woke Into the Mother Lands seems highly suspect (it's a setting book whose rules system has yet to be determined; there's a recent update talking about game mechanics, but it's bakers-only so who the fuck knows. It'll probably end up being D&D 5e or PbtA, anyways).

"Apocrypha 1" seems to be a gas giant. Odd name for a planet either way, considering the term is usually only used for non-canonical Evangeliums.

The less said about "Dustbowl" the better.

Of course I can believe it. It is the finest first-party supplement for 3.X, and no doubt various newcomers to the genre are desparately trying to get their hands on it so they convert it to 5e.
