It was a masterpiece compared to ASSCreed: North African Greeks (the only ASSCreed i've briefly touched).
This sequel looks like a shitty DLC written by the usual suspects.
The Sony Ponies will buy it day 1 and defend it to death though; it's not like they have much else to play on that shitty console of theirs.

Why did you play one of the worst Asscreeds? The Rpgcreeds are shit. If you're gonna play asscreed, play the flawed-but-fun Asscreed I, the better AssCreed II or the superior chad AssCreed IV. Don't play a nu-Creed. That's like signing up to get pegged by an AIDS dildo and then being mad your ass is sore.

Oh and you can skip Brotherhood and Revelations. They're inferior iterations based on Asscreed II and really do very little/nothing to improve the formula. Only the storyfags care about them. I suppose if Brotherhood was the game someone played instead of II, they could be forgiven for thinking it's a better game. But nah. AC1, ACII, ACIV are all you need. I have a soft spot for ACIII but I really can't recommend it. It takes like 10 fucking hours before the gameplay opens up and becomes good. So recommending that is like recommending final fantasy 13.

AC1 is probably the best of the games if you don't care about flawed gameplay and want the best overall atmosphere and story.

I'll play the one with the pirates. It's less than 15 Gb, and it looks as good as/better than modern slop that occupies 100+ Gb.

That one never opened up nor became good, just like that shitty FFVII "remake".
I've heard that Part 2 is better and open world, but i'm so done with Nomura's bullshit and Squeenix that i don't give a fuck.

It's wokeslop (thanks, ethics department) + it's autistically littered with Yakuza-tier minigame tedium (most of which are mandatory to progress the plot).
Also, more time janny garbage. Once more, the original is undermined thanks to no one putting a leash on Nomura' output along with not firing his butt buddy Nojima yet.

FF13 is a pretty bad series. It's one of the prime examples of Nomura being Nomura. Even on a gameplay front, the game isn't exactly autobattle 100%, but it's closer to an idle combat system than it is to something the player fully controls. FF13 is mediocre at best. The story and writing are god awful and dungeons are a straight line. The game opens up eventually but it takes a long time and the story never stops sucking. FF13-2 was optimized terribly and runs like trash on pretty much everything. The game is also shit because it starts two of the most unlikable jrpg characters in history.

Lightning Returns is a very interesting game, but if someone told me they thought it was jank and shit I wouldn't disagree. It tries to be more like FF Majora's Mask than a traditional jrpg. As I said, interesting idea. The budget for the game was extremely small though and it shows. Most of the npcs have the same faces with different props and the majority of the gameplay is just doing sidequests.
