The only demake that fared worse than Silent Squirt is Dead Rising - less than 6500 players at peak.
That one not only is woke and gay, but the regular zombies are so slow and unaggressive that you can beat it without fighting a single one of them.

Not surprising. DR was only good for the zombie killing. Otherwise it was peak annoying with garbage arcade timers all over the place.

God forbid the crazy butcher guy was Chinese or the Nam Vet had actual Nam PTSD and blabbered about the Viet Cong. Wouldn't want to hurt the Viet Cong feelings!

All of the fun aspects of the visuals were removed in the DR remake as well. By "improving" the graphics, they sucked the soul out of the characters. Frank looks about 55 years old now instead of a dumpy 40. The old caricature visual design of faces has been ruined. Luis doesn't even look like the same person.

And probably 10+ GB worth of audio for languages you don't care about. That shit is annoying even in based games like Kingdom Come. Deliverance.

Different languages in a medieval game sounds kinda based tbh. I've never played AssCreed 2 in Italiano but it's probably neat. I don't know if AssCreed 1 even has an Arabic option. I agree that it sucks to be forced to download the inflated filesize for languages you don't plan to use though. Language packs should be a separate download, like DLC. Free, of course.
