Welp.....Mediamarkt, a german tretailer has on my location 50 Copys for PS4 on shelf, and another 30 back in storage from canceled preorders. And the company has the price lowered to 29.95€ ....not only for black friday. It is a real trainwreck and it feels great

Yeah. It is real fun to see nearly empty shelfs for Red Dead, Horizon Zero Dawn and even GTA V. The guys in the store told me that they sold about 25 copies of 76 on start and they got 14 back in the first day. The store manager even made an exeption for Returns because its not normal to take back open games. You could return only for PS4 and Xbox because the PC version is download only.
I say to christmas you can get the game for 20Bucks and in an year or so Bethesda closes the servers while mods will make it so that you can play the game offline.

I think the last AAA game I played and actually enjoyed is :gasp: Dishonored. Stealth mechanics is quite solid/polished, it felt like the true successor of Hitman series. I know nothing about the sequel though.

I mentioned Dishonored earlier. I feel like that was also one of the last really good AAA games. I never played the second game but something interesting is that the devs from Dishonored made Prey. They are under Bethesda/distributed by them, but it seems to be a separate studio. I would consider them maybe more AA than AAA. I think the people who made Dishonored made Riddick. Not sure though.

Dishonored feels a lot more like Thief than Hitman to me. If you go from Thief 3 to Dishonored, it's a pretty natural progression.

And New Vegas could qualify as a good AAA game except for the fact it was an Obisidian spin-off and the definition of AA.

I think Arkane and Starbreeze are irrelevant. Their games share some similarities though. As a side note, my only gripe on Riddick is, it's a canonically prequel and sequels (movies) absolutely suck balls. Riddick in a video game acts like a criminal / actually bad person but Riddick in movies is basically edgey emo soft good soyboy who just wants to pretend to be a bad boi. Vin Dieasel was a mistake (or he should have invested money on video games rather than movies).

I have zero experience with Thief series but I guess you're right, especially when you compared it to pacifist run of Dishonored. Hitman is far more slow realistic game and you can never go berserk with gun blazing/swords swinging when I think about it. That was not a very good comparison.

What about anime porn RPGs? They need them.

You can play Outrun in Yakuza game but no one considers Yakuza as a classic 2D driving game. You can play mini RPG-ish stuff in hentai games but hentai is henai, not RPG. Live with it.
