The game itself was pretty good, maybe not as a fighting game because it was too simple, but as a single player game. Especially the tournament mode which allowed you to improve your pilot's skills and buy/sell/upgrade your robots.
It had fatalities, interactive arenas (like the one with electrified fences you could throw your opponent on) and you could match the roster of animu style pilots and the roster of robots the way you wanted.
Thinking about it, that game is the real reason i want the stick on the right.

It's not even sailor moon is broken, it's just the top tier is god tier and no one else even competes. It's on the same calibur as 3rd strike.

3rd strike is probably the most overall unfriendly fighting game ever.
>entire game is dominated by 3 characters at tourney level
>oldfags constantly shit on people who mention tiers, even as the same oldfags play top tier
>game is built around parries which requires endless practice
>newbs can't even do a fucking jab without getting parried and eating a super
>even the super arts have tiers and some are completely worthless
>the coolest characters are also the most shit, so enjoy that 8-2 matchup bro
The most famous fighting game clip of all time is of two top tier players playing top tier characters. Literally tier 1 and tier 2 on the fucking tier list. Tier 2 parries the spam super from tier 1 and punishes. Normies pop off because it looks cool. Both characters are for faggots.
And guess what 3rd strike doesn't have? Any form of good training or single play modes. It has some of the most bullshitty AI of any fighting game.
