Exodus is out

You all remember Exodus, right? It's that new sci-fi RPG IP that WotC has been cooking for a good while (and now released under a subsidiary).

Apparently it's just 5e with guns. And it's apparently tied to some video game that may or may not come out eventually. Might explain the weird art direction of boring and sterile 3D renders (that may or may not be AI-generated).

Oh yeah, now we're talking. The grandaddy of Japanese TRPGs is finally getting an official English translation.
Pretty fun system, really. Uses d6s only and has a unique class system that encourages you to mix and match shit together.

(Though you don't actually have to wait 'cause there's already a fan translation.)

So Critical Role has announced that their upcoming 4th campaign would continue to use D&D 5e.
I guess they don't have much faith in their own "D&D killer" Daggerheart.


(Also kinda retarded. Not just because they're not using this to shill their own product. Or because 5e itself is already in its twilight years and I don't see it entering another golden age in the 3+ years this campaign will take. But also because WotC's aborted attempt at retconning the OGL was in no small part aimed at forcing Actual Plays like themselves to give them money - and yet they're still consooming WotC's product.)

There was already a HOMM (digital) card game that Ubisoft killed a few years ago. From what I see, this card game is just the physical version of it, including the grid play area (digital it was 5x4, however).
