Also a weird observation: Her fake husband is partially MIA. He's technically with her in the apartment more often than not playing Axel F, but she hasn't actually filmed him in a good while, and they same to take extra care as to not have him accidentally walk in during the stream.

All animals, domesticated or not, have their boundaries and anyone that likes a certain kind of animal should know about them.

Dogs in general are about as friendly as animals get. I've encountered several dozens of dogs. Perhaps it's because even friendly dogs sometimes will bark at you that people can judge them better or do so with more fear. I know one that will bark at you viciously whenever you come even close to the property, until you whistle it to you and it'll be super timid and friendly.

Cats may not give you that warning but most people know that you can't just pet a cat. Not even some house cat of a friend you visit often. Even even for the owners the cat will have rules on where and when you may touch it. Belly, tail and paws should always be considered no-touch areas unless you know the cat really well.

Free-roaming cats? They rarely let strangers even get close. Completely ownerless cats? Even less of a chance.
But even the friendliest cat will not let you restrict its movement in any way unless it knows you extremely well.

That's not unique to cats. That's just a general animal trait, including humans. How many people would you allow to hug you? Would you assume that bull that eats grass from your hand would like a side-hug? Would you just grab onto a horse you don't know? That dog of a neighbour you meet often that is always friendly, would you put it into a headlock?

You could argue that the difference is that a bull or even cow could fuck you up way worse. Would you want to pick a fight with a dog or cat? Of course not.
