Maybe the race riots in Syria did get too close to her favorite Bootleg KFC.
Maybe she finally managed to piss off her new neighbors, as she is wont to do.
Or maybe it's the easier access to ATMs, people who can speak English, hospitals, and of course ACs and fast food that doesn't make her sick due to germs and shit.
