Nope. Honestly the Feds were fucking retarded in the Diddy case. They fucking overcharged him with such shit evidence that the jury had no choice but to get him off the serious charges. It honestly felt like the jury threw the Feds a bone on the prostitution charges so that Feds can pretend they did their job.

The Five charges were:

1) RICO which was fucking ridiculous and people have complained about Feds abusing for a while. People were glad that this charge failed since they hope it will stop the Feds from throwing this nilly dilly. This was was the most serious with life in prison.

2) Separate charges of Sex Trafficking for Cassie Ventura and Jane Doe which the jury didn't buy and I didn't blame them. My favorite moment came with Jane Doe boo hooing on the stand that Diddy was evil and forcing her to do things against her will. It then came out that Diddy has been paying her rent of her place this whole time even during the trial. Yeah bitch. You hate but want his money to pay your lifestyle.

3) Separate charges of crossing state lines with Ventura and Doe with the purpose of prostitution which is known as the Mann Act. This is what he was convicted for which is whatever and people are hoping for the max of 10 years which won't happen unless the judge is a butthurt beta cuck that is ass mad he wasn't convicted for more. People are leaning towards 2-3 years with time served due to not having a criminal record.

Honestly if you paying attention to the trial and not going yeah hang that monkey, you would realize how the car was garbage. They kept bringing things that was irrelevant to the charges. Like yeah he beat the shit out of Ventura. What does that have to do with sex trafficking especially when we have texts with her saying she was excited for the freak offs. It was so bad that that the defense didn't bother bringing up their own defense witnesses and spent so little time cross examining because they knew the case was pathetic and they were right. But what do you expect when the prosecution team was full DEI with only 6 white women with the head prosecutor being a nepo baby.

Honestly the only thing worth it in the trial was all the YouTube lawyers looking like idiots. They were the ones saying that the Feds had a slam dunk and it was the non-lawyers who were pumping the brakes saying that wasn't the case. We now know who was right.

Reminds me of Lucky Luciano's indictment, except Thomas Dewey actually got the judge to convict Luciano to 50 years on a bunch of prostitution charges somehow - the only ones that he managed to stick since there was no RICO back in the day. Later Dewey admitted the sentencing was too harsh, which is probably part of the reason why he as a governor agreed to extradict Luciano back to Italy after he helped with Operation Underworld.

Exactly. The charges were completely wrong. The jury could still think Diddy is a piece of shit and still wouldn't convict since these weren't the crimes he did. I had seen people comparing this OJ and that is ridiculous. They did change OJ correctly just fucked up in the trial itself. The Diddy case was doomed from the charges.
