I have no complaints about the volume. They didn't play Highway Star, though.
The pre-bands were Alice Cooper and Mad Max, so that was quite alright.

They started that night with Highway Star and that was not the song for Gillan to warm up his vocals for. I'm a bigger fan of Cooper seeing him seven times in my day. Never seen Mad Max but I don't think they were ever popular here in the new continent.

I haven't ever heard of Mad Max. They are a weird band. Christian like a discount Stryper. They either had a great chorus or a great rhythm but never both. A song would start kickass and then go into a gay gospel chorus or it'd be lame as shit except for a great chorus.
If they had ever put both together they could've been big.
