Especially breeding cats is just silly. They don't have those big differences between breeds and there are plenty at your local shelter. You get them for close to free.

With a dog I can see why one would want a certain breed. Size, character, level of activity and such vary a lot. Still, there's likely a fitting dog at the shelter as well.

All cats come into slight variations of the "asshole" model.

Cats know they don't have the strength and body mass to actually kill people.

From what I've heard, no. Shelters are full of shitbulls and shitbull mixes. Regular dogs that people might want are snapped up instantly, often times by "rescuers" that resell them for big profits.
