If all you want to do is party, work out and travel the world, I guess Berlin isn't the worst home base. He lives in one of those artist areas, like David Bowie did for a long while.

All large cities in the West are the same and those type of neighbourhoods are all the same. Berlin just has vastly lower violent crime numbers than any large city in the US.
I guess he also enjoys being a big deal, whereas in LA he'd just be some guy from a somewhat popular band. That is kind of inactive.

Dunno about favourite song. I always really liked Pensilvania, when it comes to the lesser known ones.
