No idea if it's just the IRS being bitchmade or if you are talking out of your ass. Generally speaking, tax offices of nations that aren't banana republics won't just let you pay a spouse whatever the hell you want and would tax exceptionally high income so hard it wouldn't be worth it in the first place.

That aside, he'd need to earn a killing in the first place to make that kind of tunnelling a concern. It'd actually be more profitable to buy a house in her name from the profit to shield it from a potential bankruptcy.

Maybe it was just a gut feeling of me. Whenever INs are involved, I think less of a legitimate family buisness and more of the classic manager/politician blunder of giving your sweetheart a job that pays pretty well, but no one can really tell you what she's doing.

It will take so long, it's possible there will be Daughter of Linkara series.
