Given the time period it was made and the fact it looks like it was made on the budget of $15, it was probably shot on shitteo. So it would have been shot on 480i and dumbed down to 240i for those old CD game systems.

So the best they could do now is 480p if they have the original elements.

The legend has it that the game was released unfinished (no shit) and that normally, the stills in it would be used for staging the scenes, and then they would actually get shot, and that they ran out of money (director got his lunch money stolen!) before they could actually shoot the scenes for real.

Given the random garbage and photos during the chase scene etc., I could believe that, plenty of stuff seems to be some hopeless crap just to add some padding. I haven't really seen any other FMV game that would be like this, completely without any video (except for the opening), so it would make sense to me. Then again, maybe they were just that insane and this was the idea from the beginning.

AVGN is literally the only reason why anybody has heard of this game, so there can't be that many cocksuckers even ironically caring for this, the company which specializes on these physical releases just did this as a cheap marketing stunt.
