The first book was fun because of it's inept writing of a genre she didn't understand, and poor pretentious prose. I quit the second because it was bad AND boring. The third sounds absolutely insufferable. It's taken years between 2 and 3, because 2 flopped, and neither the publisher nor Lindsay could give a shit at this point.

Speaking of Lindsay's books, funnily enough I was in a comic book shop in London a year ago and I saw a copy of her latest book, signed, I think the RRP was something like £20 (this was a hardcover) and it was marked down to like £4.

So, to recap, they had trouble moving a hardcover, signed copy of her book, for £4
