Guess Dobson is another case of someone getting some disproportionate success early on without having the actual determination to keep it up, and he couldn't handle it.

He's really just a typical webcomic IN (albeit a very kekworthy one)

• just competent enough to impress normies (at least initially)
• not competent enough for any kind of professional career
• never actually becomes better (but certainly worse) at his "job" because he's a lazy/autistic fuck who takes criticism of his art way too personally
• bonus points for obsessing about politics to the detriment of his work
• further bonus points for struggling to keep his fetishes out of his work (at least until he switched over to polidicks)
