I really don't like anything about Jose but somehow I get the feeling he considered a split for a while and then jumped ship when the opportunity presented itself.
As you can see, he still ""made it"" even on his own. At least when compared to Film Bald and other "kahntent creators" of that caliber.

He was part of Blistered Thumbs, their gayming network that was effectively dead years ago. His split from CA really just was a formality. Like your parents filing divorce after being separated for five years.

If he didn't keep showing up in cameos and Linkara's movie, you'd be hard pressed to remember he was still technically part of CA.

I'm guessing Joe had no issue with Doge because he did several NC episodes like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. He only left after Jewwario was revealed as the alleged sexual predator. Apparently, he said in a Q+A that he would return to CA if they issued an apology.
