Problem is he expects it hand-delivered without any effort.
He must have been babbied by his parents so that he just never learned the value of work and expects everything handed to him. He literally sat in his basement doing nothing because he wanted someone to come and fix it for him. There are worse comedians, worse youtubers, and worse writers out there, who have been way more successful than Noah and it's all because they at least worked and tried.
This describes most of the people, who stream games for a living though. It's an encouraged behavior, as it's the good old angry gamer shtick, it's what gets people to tune in and meme about it.
There is no schtick with Noah. He's perhaps the most real of the "Angry video game reviewers" because those are his real beliefs and views. There's no happy well adjusted Noah and some angry character he plays. He treats life like some caustic angry reviewer bitching and complaining all the time. He wants the world to be perfect by his viewpoint and then whines when it isn't.

Down to including not even knowing what he wants. There is no perfect world for him. With nothing to complain about, he'd hate it regardless.
Happiness decreases as narcissism increases. They're never happy people because what they want is impossible: to be godlike figures worshipped by everyone everywhere. If there's any lesson to learn from Mr. Noah Antwhiner is that learning at least a little humility is a good thing and that narcissism is a mind poison.
Compare his 2010 era streams to his Fallout 2 meltdown stream. Did his brain break? I mean X-Com is boring nerd shit but he both understand the game and seems to be enjoying himself.
Something broke for sure. Nobody can tell me he didn't have something misfire. Narcissist this, failed actor that, all fine and true but that's not all. That can't be all.

My long-term suspicion is that the medication he was put on after Red Dragon left him completely ruined his brain and made him even more morose and miserable than ever.
