That dog was mistreated since the moment that April left - he didn't walk her, probably forgot to feed her on regular basis, obviously poor hygiene, never taken to the vet etc. I'm surprised she survived for that long. I have zero sympathy for Noah, he treated her like shit and probably contributed to shortening her lifespan significantly.
