He got youtube famous because he was the only decent option at the time (same as with spoony, there were very few alternatives). I'm sure his family's money helped him establish his channel brand, video quality etc during a time when most were making do with free software (that sucked) and bad quality. But he took his good fortune as some sort of sign from the gods that he was an ubermensch who couldn't fail. He got mega-arrogant, tried to turbojew his fans, threw a tantrum and now only his spoonytarded hardcore fans care about him.

The name change might be old. I don't remember if it is. But the newest video having no comments is a new thing. The other videos still have comments. I'm just guessing that anything he uploads in future will also have comments disabled, since he's still butthurt about fans asking for more CGR.
