The story is shit. It's not a story-driven game either. It's a delivery man simulator with the afterthought of the worst word salad, incomprehensible mess of a "story" from Kojimbo yet. It's a more competent Monster Energy commercial than a story. It makes absolutely no sense, has no meaning, isn't compelling and has no suspense to speak of.

A focussed play through of Death Stranding clocks in at 40-50 hours. So you're looking at a cool 35 hours before the dumb story starts to get anywhere and the goal is not worth reaching it.
