Well I've been gone for a bit and find out about this. You'd think Film Bald would have beat him to it.

I do think this is genuine and his age is a factor, especially since someone here pointed out he lost his job before he trooned out. At 41 with no job and nothing to show for what he did in his youth finally made him snap.
