Not even 8 minutes. It can summarized in one sentence. The reason why Beetleborgs Season 3 was because they ran out of Japanese footage. That's all there is to it. Same reason why Saban's Masked Rider was only one season (it had nothing to do with Shotaro Ishinomori being triggered so hard by the shitty Americanized version).

They were so short on stock footage that had to borrow from Kamen Rider ZO for long-distance driving montages (of which ZO probably had 2 at the most because it's just a movie).

That show was the most incoherent, idiotic, and annoying thing I've ever seen on TV. Hate, hate, hated that show. It made Power Rangers look competent in comparison.

To be fair, Blob does say that the show is pretty much garbage. But the reason it may have some nostalgia is because when it aired it was beating Power Rangers in ratings. To be fair, it was competing against Zeo and especially Turbo which helped it a lot.

I think the reason people believe that Ishinomori was the reason is because of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. That was produced by another company and not even Disney who would own the rights to Saban's catalog at the time.

Saban Brands also registered a "Power Rider" trademark around the time they got the rights back with Power Rangers Samurai (likely due to Shinkenger having a crossover with Decade), but nothing came out of it

They adapted some of the old Metal Hero characters (namely Gavan and Jiraiya) that guest-starred in recent Super Sentai series as new Power Rangers allies, so likely that was planned for Decade as well for his Shinkenger guest appearances, but that was probably too much trouble for Saban Brands, since the rights for Rider as co-owned by Ishinomori and Toei (whereas Sentai and Metal are wholly owned by Toei). Also, Adness probably still had the rights to Kamen Rider even after the failure of Dragon Knight.
