The closest to his vision would be the mango. It's raunchier, funnier and actually knows proper brevity. An easy read that doesn't have anything overstaying it's welcome.

Animu DBZ was a fantastic business decision but is a sub-optimal experience at least.
You're simply not meant to sit down and diligently spend so much time with thin plot points. You're supposed to read a chapter in about ten minutes to pass some time and get on with your life.

OG DB is as good as a Dragemballs anime could have been.

Kai is overall superior to original DBZ - but the openings, particularly dubbed, are much - much worse.

I remember there was a time when Toriyama said GT was as canon as any of the movies, then he made Battle of Gods and his tune changed entirely.

I like Z and GT and have even enjoyed the Super *movies.*

But most of what I just described is guilty pleasure shit. GT and Buu especially.
