OG DB is as good as a Dragemballs anime could have been.

Kai is overall superior to original DBZ - but the openings, particularly dubbed, are much - much worse.

I like Z and GT and have even enjoyed the Super *movies.*

But most of what I just described is guilty pleasure shit. GT and Buu especially.

I own those original Dragon Ball DVDs, and the DB Kai Blu-rays of the up until the end of the Cell saga. The Buu saga kind of sucks and the Blu-rays for that saga are cropped to 16:9 for some reason, so I passed on them.

You'll get better quality DB stuff off the torrents than most of the official Funimation releases, I've learned the hard way.

Faulconer came up when it was expected for music to be playing every millisecond of American shows. So Faulconer Productions produced a lot of filler. What they have that slaps slaps hard though.
