I can't remember how many years it has been since I watched one of his reviews. I found them really funny fifteen years ago.

It seems like after Escapist's parent company, Gamurs, who've owned Escapist for only a year, just fired their editor-in-chief, so everyone else, including Yahtzee, quit in protest. I guess all they own now Escapist-related is the office lease

He’s betting on Escapist biting it before he does. He’s probably right.

I member his year before the escapists with fondness, as he was good at trolling the Piss3 and bing bing wahoos community. Also his books are bretti gud. Escapist can go belly up for all I care, I only dimly remember the guy doing extra punctuation being a feminist cuck.

Preaching to the choir. I'm assuming the only reason he stayed is The Essgaypissed owned Zero Punctuation. How ridiculous! Yahtzee created that series originally on youtube before he was ever scouted by them. No doubt he signed over the rights in some OG contract. I suppose we've all been young and dumb. Doubt he'll lose much from the loss of the IP, however. Escapist can't use it without him. He can just create Legally Distinct ZP on paymetons or some other gay paywall site.

Personally, I've always thought Yahtzee was better in long-form videos, like the "let's drown out" series. He's less of a fucking meme in those because he's not trying so goddamn hard. His FLT and Papers Please videos were enjoyable. By contrast, ZP is a broken record on endless repeat.

Extra Credits deserves its own thread full of sperge rage. Undeserved fame given to absolute shitters.
