He's a descendant of Channel Awesome. The only difference is that he plays music over the clips.
If the kill count gimmick disappeared, no one would bat an eyelid because these videos were never fundamentally about discussing special effects to begin with. They're comedic movie recaps. Most of the insight into the kills is just "ooh, that's a gnarly-looking dead body".
The way I see it, James has two options: either go completely populist and start talking about shit like Indiana Jones and Star Wars, or go completely niche and start talking about the weirdest horror films possible.

Cuck Count will now be on the main channel, all other content will get a new channel for the content, which will make even less people want to follow. Because I don't want to sit there and watch OR listen to him talk about garbage movies that his wife made him watch, all while he rubs one out to WWE.

A fantastic idea and a unique one as well!
I certainly have never seen massive Youtubers struggle to get even 10k subs on their side channel.

Oh but he is gonna put his wife's podcast on it, what a great idea! I am sure a million subs are gonna go watch his wife's podcast on the secondary channel!

I can't say I really HATE his wife, but I feel like an overexposure of her is a real big problem for the channel. Her Kill Count episodes always gotta either be the most generic written garbage, or gotta sound like it has to be "female empowering" which is pure dog shit. I am almost tempted to see if he is gonna let her do a Texas Chainsaw re-count that is all her, considering her love for Bubba, James would sit there in the corner like the cuck he is.
