He says making jokes isn't fulfilling of what he wants to make, he wants to "celebrate" the horror genre, by what, recapping the fucking movie and talking about production? If I wanted to watch a movie and learn about how it is made I would just buy the dvd or blurays and just not watch his videos at all. I started watching his videos back in the day because they were at one point heavily pushed by the algorithm (especially during the beginning of the pandemic), and I used to think he was a fun guy, but now he is just another guy who I feel makes soulless content and it's more about what he can do to maintain the good graces of Youtube.

He doesn't know what he wants to be as a youtuber, and he hurt himself in this video by saying he doesn't like mainstream horror when 80's slashers were mainstream when most of them were released (and to this day are still pretty mainstream or entry level horror, which is what got him popular to begin with). I don't think he gets that his views will never be what they once were because he already covered everything that people really wanted to see, of course with a few exceptions that are either blocked or struck by the copyright holders, or something like Jeepers Creepers because he doesn't want to cover work done by a pedophile.
