Bizarre cafe moment: I was taking a spritely walk through my new neighborhood and happened upon a cute cafe with a sign that boasts “lattes - cappuccinos - coffee - mocha.” Perfect, timed for an iced treat. I go in… place is empty. No bother, I sit down but there are no signs or menus.

So the "cute cafe" did have a menu in the form of that sign. It all but directly says "Hello, fat bitch! We have all the classics a real coffee enthusiast could ask for!", and yet she's completely helpless without a menu.
