That requires having a hole in the tooth that you didn't get treated for months.
That's some shit I get because I don't go to the dentist or doctor until I've been in absurd pain for weeks because I'm a fucking retard. How does that slip by when you've just had your dentist refurbishment your entire puke-ravished graveyard?

I have to admit you guys are one of the few socialist nations to get healthcare right. Here in Canada it's crumbling like an Afghan hut in the rain.

Until you have to go to the hospital. Insurance will cover just about anything but don't expect your stay to be efficient in any way. They will play hot potato with you all day as you're sent from waiting room to waiting room.

Our health care system sucks so bad that poors clog up the ERs with trivial complaints (mexi moms taking their kids in because they have a cold, etc) because standard doctor visits cost too much. So they run up the ER tab instead and just never pay it. ERs aren't allowed to refuse service.

I have never paid anything for a regular doctor visit. There's a flat cost for medications, usually five Euros, but you don't pay a doctor's visit at all.

Nor have I ever paid anything for an ER visit. Recipe medication you get from the pharmacy and dentist stuff if you want some extra things cost money. That's it.

Keep in mind, I pay plenty of health care from my paycheque every fucking month. So they better not fucking charge me again at the hospital for an X-ray or the doctor for having the flu.

As I've said, the US' health care system is a special kind of fucked up. Hospitals and clinics mark their rates up in the stratosphere because insurance companies refuse to pay full price for anything. Forcing medical care providers to hike their prices so they can survive. But this leaves the cash payer in the cold, and many insurance companies will simply refuse to cover a procedure after-the-fact, regardless of they otherwise gave indication they would cover it. Insurance companies have whole groups whose job it is to ferret out cases they can refuse to cover. To save them money and increase profits, of course. Each customer they fuck over is an increase to their bottom line.

The whole medical system in the USA exists solely to make insurance companies rich.

It's so bad hospitals are working on implementing ways to filter out these idiots before they can even get to the ER.
