Afaik Pokeymanz is the only modern animu show which still uses the same ultra old and obsolete formula used by 80's animu for kids (mecha especially), which consists in carbon copying the structure of every episode except the first and the last, every time introducing a new villain of the week who is going to die at the end.
Ash goes to a new place ->learns about a new kind of Pokemon ->the Team Rocket shows up to steal Sonichu ->the Team Rocket gets their asses kicked ->Ash says goodbye to the place and goes somewhere else.
I can't even imagine what a low IQ Mormon who thinks that the female titan twist is a marvel of storytelling can add to that.

I've stopped caring about Pokemon long before I got to high school. I wouldn't mind playing some of the games from time to time, but the anime and manga has to be aimed at kids, surely.
