He mentions a game called growl @ 7:50 and the price reflects the date this video was released.



I think why I hate him so much is he denies doing this in there is blatant proof of the cause and effect of it. James Rolfe does it also but his fans are such retards they will buy any game that he mentions.



And as you can see, the price never stays high, it's just gay hype.

I just wanna point out Growl is in the taito legends 2 collection IIRC. So you can just buy that instead and he should be telling people to buy it there instead of doing the >muh collectorfag shit. The Taito Legends 2 version is the arcade version, so it's literally a superior game for much less money.

I had Pat's podcast on and they talked about people bitching about retro prices rising because of youtubers and they specifically say "hidden gem videos". Out of the blue Pat mentions that "unless there is some type of retro game insider trading going on it's not an issue", you just know that Pat was thinking in his head how much of a great idea it would be to sell all of his doubles by shilling some shitty Spongebob game. You just know he has a lot of licensed crap everywhere because on shit like Craigslist or Gumtree over here there is always some fuck who won't sell you their good game unless you buy the other 8 sports games or Dora the Explorer shit no one wants with it.

-The first game is Nier, which is LEL. This is a ps3 list and Nier is cross-platform. It's not even hidden because of Automata doing so well critically. But fair play this video is 2014 so whatever
-Yakuza, literally not underrated in the slightest anymore. This is a great example of a "hidden gem" that gets shilled in every other fucking video on the internet as "underrated." If anything, the franchise is overrated now. Also Yakuza 4 isn't a very good Yakuza game imo. Reminder that Yakuza has been a pretty big deal since Yakuza 3 and 4, but DEFINITELY since 5
-aquapazza is fucking trash. "it reminds me of street fighter" insert "ok" react image to that shit
-ski-doo challege seems like a legit hidden gem but it's also overpriced as shit last time I checked
-dragon's crown is NOT underrated. It got a ton of press prior to release and everyone knows what it is. Even back then, people knew what vanillaware was about after Muramasa on Wii/Vita was a hit. Vanillaware games always score really high on review websites too
-The Bureau looks like shit and you can just go play modern xcom enemy unknown OH AND THIS IS NOT PS3 EXCLUSIVE
-I don't like Brutal Legend at all, whatever, I guess it counts even though it's too well-known imo for a "hidden gem"
-Valkyria Chronicles counts I guess
-Ridge Racer Unbounded IS TRASH. DO NOT BUY THIS SHIT. I bought it and wasted my money. It fucking sucks and the cars control like ass. He compares it to burnout and motorstorm which all control better than this. DAMMIT YOU FUCK STOP RECOMMENDING OBJECTIVELY BAD GAMES AS GEMS

I was gonna do the same to his part 2 video for ps3 hidden GEMS, but it has a lot more unknown games and exclusives. It's like this video was a beta test to make that one.

That is one of the worst games of the last console generation. It's not hidden either it had a HUGE push.

Again, not hidden, Tim "It's better than nothing" schafer has been exposed as a huge hack, and although that's one of his better games, it's not worth owning even when they were giving it away for free.
