The best part was that Scorcese said he was offered to direct a Joker movie and at the end turned it down since he didn't know how to make it good. I thought The Departed was overrated and it was kind of lame for Scorcese to get the big award for that movie when he made so many better ones, but he's definitely working overtime right now to endear himself to me again.

Goodfelles is his best film don’t care if it’s the obvious choice he should’ve won for that especially over Forrest Gump! Even his films don’t like are well made works of art.
