That's the next best thing. But that's them trying to make the other side sound lame. Finding a legit typing error is like finding a present. They jump up in their seats and rejoice, since the other side has shown an objective flaw.
They do something similar when someone tries legitimate criticism, but gets too carried away and writes way too many paragraphs. Then the IN will just zero in on the 1-2 most harmless bits and will ignore everything else.

The mocking voice is just their way of marginalizing the opposition, but nitpicking their responses feels like a "victory".
