Also the fans who bought the first one only did it because it was a novelty to read something Lindsay Ellis wrote. When they finally read it, and found out how shit it was, they likely lost all interest in buying the second one.

Thing is that it really isn't much worse than her standard work. From the summaries I read here it's basically an episode of Nostalgia Chick. So, if you're a fan of Lindsay the terribleness of it probably wouldn't put you off
