I swear. It's like I said earlier in the thread about the bullshit of them keeping DBZ relevant when they started. It's a burger thing of 2 things. First, push a show when it's being hyped then throw it away when it no longer is. Second, pretend a show isn't popular when it is worldwide. For burgers, DB is the first option and Jojo is the second option.

While Jojo isn't my cup of tea, I knew about it way before DBZA even existed. It was relevant enough for its OVA getting a English Dub with actors like Charles Martinet as voices. Just because us Burgers didn't care about the show then didn't mean it wasn't popular. Jojo had by then been around for at least 20 years with English translations of the manga being around for at least 5 years by the time DBZA was a twinkle in their eyes.

Heck IGN wrote an review about Volume 1 in 2005. The series was known enough prior to them.

Also I'm so sick and tired of Martin going on and fucking on about people bitching at him for bitching about pop culture on his twitter. Well if you didn't want that level of interaction you can control it or just shut the fuck up, jesus christ. I think I see more tweets of him whining about people whining about his whining than I do his actual opinions on it.

Oh and he's in dire financial straits again. Probably should have gotten a better career than niche at best internet celebrity. Before anyone tries to say he isn't or whatever, he is. And I mean that as an insult. Because he takes it as one.

All abridgers seem to be at the DSP level of e-begging. It's funny that Something Witty have more patreon supporters now than TFS and TFS manage to somehow put out more content, SWE only put out an episode a year which is almost LK levels of him putting out an episode every year and a half-2 years.
