He has 130K subs yet the fucker is averaging about 5k views per video in the past week. When I look back in the past week his views vary greatly depending on the controversy but he seems to only average 20k views. And you bet your ass he has been hit huge:

While Larry claimed the large ad revenue drop is bullshit, it seems political/drama channels are being hit hard and that H3H3 was being honest. Matt is feeling it already too most likely, and since he only gets $174 a month on Patreon he was reliant solely on youtube ad revenue.

Good fucking riddance. He STILL uploads 3 or 4 videos a fucking day, even TB and other big youtubers seems to acknowledge that once you do more than one video a day you cannibalise your channel.

I don't think Larry outright said that it was a lie, or anything, just that he wasn't seeing that huge of a drop.
Regardless, h3h3's entire video was them basically saying, "we, personally, will be fine but nobody who does our type of content will ever get popular and make money again."

Sounds good. So MundaneFatt's fate will be the same as DSP, except he never reached DSP's heights in terms of views and money. The more years pass, the less and less money he'll get until YouTube forgets about him and moves on entirely. Then he'll cry and cry and go work a real job if he can get one.

I don't really have a problem with scumsuckers making less money on YouTube. It's pretty obvious to everyone that when monetization started up in earnest on YouTube, the payout rate was WAY WAY WAY above what those channels were "worth" in terms of revenue. DSP admits this openly. His early contracts were paying him in views rather than ads. And several times, when his MCN called up to renegotiate his contract, they said it was because they were currently paying him more money than his channel was actually earning. Shit was ridiculous.

I'm not sure what anyone can really do about advertisers choosing (of their own free will, and with their own companies) to boycott selling ads to certain channels or on certain platforms. They have that right to decide who gets to shill their stupid products. All this butthurt is because of the rat race of people trying like hell to be paid shills, and angry that they now can't and might have to go do real work and make YouTube videos as a hobby. Or else generate a real product to sell, like garbage t-shirts and worthless mugs.

And that's exactly what a lot of the early ebegging channels did before you could make money off YouTube videos. People ran shitty little internet stores and sold merch, or offered other special products and services. They advertised that stuff using their YT channel, which couldn't directly earn them money.
