It's International Non-Binary Day. I'm a non-binary voice actor that has been transitioning publicly since coming out in 2019.

Non-binary is a label we have to trailblaze on our own, and we are frequently misunderstood by members of our own communities.

Tomorrow, I have my bottom surgery consult.

I've seen confusion expressed about what non-binary people are transitioning "towards". For me, it's about moving closer to what makes me feel powerful and strengthens that feeling of resonance with who I am and how that is expressed. I won't be more specific than that on socials, though.
