So the actual chain of events afaik is this:

-CV makes a weekly hate show about ERod

-Eugenia (part of ERod’s team) keeps dealing with comments on videos about it

-CV gets involved with CTC

-Marsha talks to CV about past behavior and it seems like maybe he understands why it was uncool

-Doc is released and many many people come to be about the many things CV has said: slut shaming, harassing an old friend, transphobia, using a gay slur, the rape joke about Tamara

-I approach CV about this and he apologizes and even makes an apology video. I take it as genuine.

-CV talks to someone from Brad’s team. ERod felt like he was inserting himself into our situation and was upset about it. Told CV to back off and not message him again

-CV messaged him again and ERod blocked him

-Not knowing there was history, I had no idea why ERod was so quick to dismiss CV

Edit: oops, missed that part where he told Marsha he would stop talking about ERod and then made the Brad video that was mostly about ERod.

-CV keeps attacking ERod publicly to the point where one person involved became suicidal

-I messaged CV asking him to back off (the first part of that message is available on Twitter)

-CV keeps getting into various arguments online and people keep running to report them to me, mostly recently about PewDiePie and he said that it was okay to say the Nigger because of Blazing Saddles

-I messaged him on Twitter saying that’s weak justification because attitudes have changed over 45 years

-I also told people that while I appreciated him making the doc, I’m not his boss or mommy or the Internet police, so people need to stop trying to snitch on him to me. And just because I appreciated the doc doesn’t mean I approve of everything he says and does in life

-because I mentioned PewDiePie’s name, people I do t know who were only looking for fights started messaging me about him, so I made the tweet that if you were randomly showing up for that, I would probably block you

This essentially brings you to today. Apparently he has been stewing about this and all of a sudden it’s about how I should have defended him against ERod and that I should have defended him supporting PewDiePie. How that played out, you can see on Twitter.
