Was it Miguel Ferrer’s character? He was an awesome actor, RIP.
No, it was Clarence Williams III, one of the four or five black people who show up in the entirety of "Twin Peaks".

Re: Movieblob

Everybody goes gray eventually. It's not a big issue. My attention is on that photo next to his selfie. "Look at me, I've got business cards and a lanyard that says CREATOR on it. I'm a big fuckin' deal. Moviebob Productions. It's going places!"

Why not a photo of something interesting in the room?

Re: Clown World General

All I've read are the excerpts, selectively chosen to make Kristi Noem look bad, I'm sure. I'm open to the idea that shooting the dog was justified. I don't know much about the incident, but I DO know this: You don't want to be talking about something like this while you're angling to be Trump's run...

Re: Clown World General

Political lesson of the day: If you're hoping to get picked as a Presidential running mate, don't write a new book in which you tell the story of the time you shot your 14-month-old dog for not being a good hunting animal. Some people who live on farms are saying that sometimes shooting your dog is ...

Re: People love complaining, right? Complain about everything (life, health, bad luck, random shit etc)

People who insist that "everything is political" are the worst. These people are 1) usually hard left, full-blown commies 2) making an excuse for their love of preaching from their soapbox constantly 3) obviously interested in finding out where everyone in their life stands politically so they can s...

He's not wrong at all, but will he acknowledge that he's no better than anyone else?

Re: Movieblob

This is like Blob complaining that too many people are fat.

Also, his Twitter engagement sucks. He has 27.4k followers, but can't get a dozen reactions to his tweets sometimes. So it's not like he even benefits from being so active on Twitter. It's pure addiction for him.

Re: AIs and Robots: Countdown to the Butlerian Jihad

"We're lonely, too. The men who are lonely are just shitty people who need to work on themselves. The women who are lonely are lonely because there are no good men out there". That's my summary of a lot of women's reaction to this. They see anything that addresses men's suffering as dismissive of wo...

Re: AIs and Robots: Countdown to the Butlerian Jihad

The replies are pretty good. "Relationships are work and they don't want to work for anything." "They would rather a fake girlfriend than have to face themselves and the internal work needed for genuine connection" "Yet all we hear about is this male loneliness epidemic and not a peep about women an...
