Re: Movie Thread

There's a theater here that shows "Nosferatu" every October 30 with live music accompaniment. That show is my Halloween. It's a great time. Like all silent films, it was meant to be seen big with loud, live music. I wish I could see them all that way.

Re: God Emperor Megathread (Trump and his presidency)

Trump isn't perfect, but goddamn is he funny. And he's funny without trying. Trump ordering breakfast is probably funny sometimes. This tweet made me laugh, maybe because I can't imagine any other Presidential candidate in my life saying something like this about their opponent. https://twitter.com/...

WATCHING HORROR MOVIES FOR OCTOBER Last night was the 1931 "Dracula" with Bela Lugosi. Seen it many times already, but I finally bought the 4K disc. I love this movie, but it's hard to recommend to young people. It isn't paced like anything that they're used to, from its gradual build-up to its abru...

Re: Mush-Brain Mega-Thread (Brandon and His Presidency)

Kinda fascinated by Kamala Harris's problems winning over black men. Obama is out scolding the "brothas" for not supporting her enough.

Re: Styxhexenhammer: The Rutland Samurai

I dated a woman who was into tarot shit. Long time ago. I was maybe 25. She was a lot of fun for about a week and then the craziness set in and I had to get away from that. The thing about people who are into "alternative spirituality" in the form of tarot and Satanism and healing crystals is that t...

Re: Mush-Brain Mega-Thread (Brandon and His Presidency)

I do not feel good about this election. I think that the fix is in. I think that while the big states of Florida and California and Texas confidently announce their vote results on Election Night, swing states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will take a fucking week do it and the results will suc...

Re: God Emperor Megathread (Trump and his presidency)

Does anyone have the tweet where Movieblob blames Trump for his career woes?

EDIT: Found it. A true classic.

Re: Mush-Brain Mega-Thread (Brandon and His Presidency)

I'm AMAZED that a journalist on a mainstream TV network actually asked her challenging questions. Kamala's answers are total nonsense, but still good clip!
