Alcohol taxation is insane in all Nordic countries, it's even worse in Norway. Here I consider 7€ for a beer reasonable for a restaurant, it can be even twice that in some joints.

Not just alcohol. When I was in Denmark and spotted what a small Mars bar costs I almost laughed out loud. I thought I messed up the exchange rate at first. Those Tulip hot dog stands are fucking nuts as well. 7,50€ for a fucking hot dog. Get out of here, Stalker!

Here's one chart to indicate the local price level of alcoholic beverages in different restaurants:
SpoilerShow
(olut = beer, lonkero = long drink, siideri = cider, kahvi-kuppi = cup of coffee)

Not just alcohol.
Hey, those rapefugees aren't raping for free here, it costs moolah to provide a free life for our honorary citizens. Consider also how many millions our gov's need to invest in hate speech prevention, we so need these high-ass taxes, man.

11,80€ for 0,4l...what the absolute fuck, man? That buys you a crate of 24x0,33l here. That's nuts!

Probably cheaper to brew dat shit yourself at that point.

Been to a local fish restaurant with my parents and had pan-fried Plaice. Delicious!

I just had an ice cream sandwich that I fished out from the bottom of my toilet bowl.

The cannibalism doesn't stop! Since we liked it a lot last time and since we spotted some seasonal stuff on the menu, we went to the fish restaurant again. The fish platter was fantastic and the body count was high. I had:
Trout
Eel
Halibut
Rose fish
Salmon
All of them were great. Too bad we can't get pufferfish here to make the cannibalism perfect. I've got the fucker on my list still. I got to strike off eel at least. Never had one before because my parents don't like eel. I'm glad I still went for it because I liked it a lot.
