Yeah, fuck that healthy shit. It can only help lower your cholesterol, fill you up better than junk food, and take longer to digest so the sensation of being sated lasts longer. And you can only throw in fruit, drizzle some honey or chocolate/strawberry syrup, sprinkle some brown sugar, or mix in some plain Greek yogurt to improve the flavor. Fuck experimenting with healthful foods and having fun discovering new and better ways to feed yourself. Like, gawd.
But knowing her, it's not the non-instant oats in a canister. It's probably the packets, which is no better than processed cereal.
For that matter, if oatmeal makes her angry, why did she get it? Were they out of sugar frosted kiddie crap that day or was it one of those rare "I'm going to change my eating habits" moments she might have had?
